Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes by verifying invoices and processing payments
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly
- Help with account analysis and prepare reports to monitor financial health and identify potential issues
- Support payroll processing by ensuring employee hours and deductions are accurately recorded
- Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and financial documents for audit readiness
- Collaborate with senior team members on budgeting tasks and financial reporting projects
Requirements
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations and account analysis accurately
- Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
- Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
- Prior experience or coursework in accounting or finance is a plus but not required
