Shop Assistant
We are seeking a friendly and organized Shop Assistant to support daily store operations and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and assist with their shopping needs
- Provide product information and recommendations
- Support sales through upselling and cross-selling
- Process POS transactions and handle payments accurately
- Maintain merchandise displays and restock shelves
- Assist with inventory and stock management
- Respond to customer inquiries in person or by phone
- Help maintain a clean and organized store environment
Requirements:
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling is an asset
- Good organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks
This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their retail and customer service skills while contributing to a positive shopping experience.
Pay: $75,500.00-$80,000.00 per year
