Eclipse IT & Systems & Security Coordinator - Job Description
Position Summary
The IT & Systems & Security Coordinator is responsible for managing Eclipse's technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 environment, digital workplace tools, website updates, and day-to-day technical support. The position combines project-based systems improvement work with ongoing staff support and training.
Priority Responsibilities
· Administer and improve Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, licensing, permissions, and user access).
· Assess and strengthen cybersecurity including MFA, password standards, endpoint protection, and security policies.
· Develop staff training resources and cybersecurity awareness education.
· Provide technical support for Microsoft 365, ShareVision, Inclusion, Word, Excel, and general computer issues.
· Maintain and update the Eclipse website and ensure information remains current and accurate.
· Support social media setup and digital communications initiatives.
· Develop and support organizational technology planning, maintain technology asset inventories, assist with technology budgeting, develop technology-related policies and procedures, and make recommendations regarding technology upgrades and replacement needs.

Preferred Qualifications
Education, certification, or experience in Information Technology. Experience with Microsoft 365 administration required. Non-profit and ShareVision experience are considered assets.
Requirements: Clear criminal record check, negative TB test
Wage is negotiable and will be based on the successful candidate's education, qualifications, and experience. Work will be performed during weekday business hours (Monday to Friday, between 7a - 5p PST), with the specific schedule to be determined in collaboration with the successful candidate.
As this is a new position within the organization, we anticipate starting at approximately 20 hours per week; however, the final number of hours will be determined collaboratively based on organizational needs and the successful candidate's experience, recommendations, and the evolving needs of the role.
This position requires some on-site work (from our Trail or Cranbrook office, depending on where you are located) with the potential for a hybrid arrangement that includes remote work.
