Position overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Dental Receptionist to join our administrative team. This vital role helps ensure the daily operation of our practice by maintaining the highest standards of customer service, and dental knowledge. You’ll play a key part in supporting our dental professionals and ensure we meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency for our patients and staff.
- Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Receive and issue payments
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Send referrals to specialists
- Deal with dental insurance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is an asset
- Knowledge MS outlook, Word, Windows, WordPerfect
- Electronic medical records
- Electronic mail
- College graduation certificate in administration
- Experience 1 to 2 years as an Administrative
- Efficient interpersonal Skills
- Excellent oral communication in French and English
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Reliable, efficient, and comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior clinical staff.
- Team player
- Ability to multitask
