Position: Registered Early Childhood Educator
Requirements:
- E.C.E. diploma and registered member of the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators; one year ECE experienced working with all age groups is preferred
- Valid standard First Aid and CPR
- Up-to-date immunizations, including for COVID-19 (when available)
- Negative criminal records check for the vulnerable sector.
- Well-developed interpersonal, and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff and volunteers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Use of lillio app an asset but not required
Position description:
- The RECE program worker is responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of programs and services at the Centre. The Program Worker is accountable to the supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities:
Include but are not exclusive to:
- Prepare daily plans for assigned activities consistent with program curriculum handbooks;
- Supervise and instruct participants as scheduled;
- Follow the safe arrival and departure practices;
- Follow the healthy principles of child development
- Perform offsite communication duties as assigned;
- Perform program personnel duties during transit as assigned

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
