Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being. Ideal candidates will have experience in assisted living, senior care, or nursing home environments, and possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in need of assistance. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration and ensure medication schedules are followed accurately
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe living environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals
- Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia care, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities
- Follow care plans meticulously and document services provided
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in caregiving roles such as assisted living, nursing home care, or home health services. Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia or hospice care is highly valued. Knowledge of medication administration, patient care techniques, and caregiving best practices is essential. Candidates must be comfortable with light cleaning duties and physical tasks including heavy lifting. A background in nursing or home care is advantageous but not mandatory; however, a compassionate attitude and strong communication skills are required for success in this role.
Pay: $23.07-$25.00 per hour
