Role Overview
We are hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive outbound sales activity, book qualified appointments, and close deals. This role is ideal for someone comfortable with cold calling, follow-ups, and performance-based compensation.
You will sell:
- AI software (subscription-based): virtual representatives (CloudRep) and fleet management (Shift Technologies)
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
- Qualify prospects and deliver concise sales pitches
- Book qualified meetings and/or close deals directly
- Follow up consistently with prospects
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline updates
- Meet or exceed weekly booking and revenue targets
Performance Expectations
- 40–60 outbound calls per day
- 5–10 qualified meetings booked per week or consistent deal closures
- Strong show-up and follow-up discipline
- Contribution to monthly revenue targets
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of outbound sales or SDR experience
- Comfortable with cold calling and objection handling
- Strong communication skills (English required)
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and target-driven
- SaaS, technology, or automotive sales experience is an asset
Compensation
- Base salary: $35,000 – $50,000 CAD per year
- Uncapped commission on AI software sales
- Performance-based bonuses paid on top of base and commission
