Location: Boucherville
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Description
Responsibilities
Operations
-
Plan, organize, direct, and control daily shipping operations, including order picking, assembly/packaging, and loading activities.

Efficiently manage warehouse storage areas to ensure order priorities are respected.

Participate in maintaining and improving operational processes related to material handling, labeling, and packaging.

Prepare for and participate in the annual inventory count alongside employees.

Ensure smooth operations in collaboration with team leads by organizing daily meetings with them.

Conduct and/or ensure daily start-of-shift meetings and discussions (DMS) are held with employees.
-
Support the team on the warehouse floor by occasionally participating in material handling activities when required.
Human Resources
-
Participate in workforce planning and the ongoing training and development of employees.
-
Determine and assign tasks to employees under your supervision while ensuring objectives are achieved.

Ensure performance and productivity targets are met throughout the year.

Review and approve employee timesheets and manage absence requests.
-
Manage employee discipline, conduct disciplinary meetings when required, and ensure proper follow-up with Human Resources.

Foster a positive work environment that encourages productive communication and teamwork.

Participate in the annual performance review process by evaluating employees against established criteria and setting individual development goals.

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and practices.

Encourage, motivate, and engage team members.

Perform any other related duties as required.
Qualifications
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Team Lead or Supervisor role.

Strong business acumen focused on efficiency and productivity.
-
Strong interest in coaching and developing teams to reach their full potential.

Ability to effectively delegate responsibilities.
-
Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, manage, inspire, and motivate a team.
-
Adaptability and ability to understand and improve operational processes.
-
Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
-
Bilingualism (French/English – intermediate level) required due to the organization's nationwide operations and the need for effective communication across regions.

Experience with ERP systems, computerized inventory management systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
