As a Psychometrist with Intensive Community Treatment Services (ICTS) at The Summit: Centre for Youth Resilience, you will play an important role in supporting comprehensive psychological assessment for children, adolescents, and families experiencing complex mental health challenges. Working closely with psychologists and an interdisciplinary team, you will administer and score a variety of psychological and psychoeducational assessment measures, document behavioural observations, and contribute valuable information to support diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to work within a community-based mental health program that serves youth with moderate to severe mental health concerns. You will collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, family counsellors, occupational therapists, and other professionals to support individualized care for youth and families. As a Psychometrist, you will provide services related to psychological assessment, working under the direction of the responsible psychologist(s). You will meet with patients and administer and score a variety of psychological tests, and record behavioural observations. Your information and results are provided to effectively support the psychologist(s) responsible for interpreting assessment data and any related clinical decision making or recommendations. You may also provide support to psychologists in their research and or evaluation activities.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of bachelor's degree in Psychology from an accredited university.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Current training in administration and scoring of Psychological tests/standardized measures. Supervised training and experience in mental health assessment and therapy. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Strong client focus, ability to promote teamwork and partnerships. Ability to function in a changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
2-3 year's experience working in a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to conduct intellectual and achievement and/or academic/educational testing with clients under the direction of a Registered Psychologist Ability to score cognitive assessments, developmental questionnaires, behavioral questionnaires and personality questionnaires. Knowledge of and current experience utilizing standardized measures of cognitive, adaptive, behavioral and emotional functioning.
