Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented grass cutter to join our landscaping and construction team. This role involves grass cutting , trimming and clean up at various locations. including landscape maintenance, gardening, litter pick up, and construction tasks. The ideal candidate will have a valid drivers license and the knowledge on how to use of hand and power tools to ensure high-quality results and efficient project completion.
Duties
- Operate equipment such as Zero turn mowers, walk behind mowers
- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and maintaining landscape features
- Perform gardening tasks including trimming, pruning, and planting to support landscape aesthetics
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Support landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, edging, and debris removal
- Follow safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet quality standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience with mowing equipment irrigation systems, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and maintenance is advantageous
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision in cutting and shaping materials
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Valid drivers license and ability to tow trailers
