Part time Maintenance Technician / Groundskeeper Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Technician / Groundskeeper to help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our property. This position is responsible for lawn care, outdoor maintenance, and general cleaning duties to ensure the grounds remain safe, clean, and well-kept.
Responsibilities
- Mow lawns and maintain grass areas using commercial mowing equipment
- Perform string trimming and edging around buildings, fences, sidewalks, and landscaping
- Clean and remove debris from grounds, walkways, parking areas, washrooms, and common spaces
- Collect and dispose of garbage and yard waste
- Operate and maintain landscaping and cleaning equipment safely
- Assist with seasonal property maintenance as needed
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a professional work environment
Qualifications
- Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to operate lawn mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and basic cleaning equipment
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Work Environment
- Outdoor and indoor work environments
- May require occasional weekend or overtime work during peak seasons
Pay: $23.00 per hour
