Floral Designer/Client Service Position
Job Overview:
Gorgeous & Beautiful is a fun, social retail experience that focuses on flowers. G&B is much more than a mere florist or bucket shop. Our customers come to us for something special, both the experience of interacting with us and the unique beauty of the arrangements they take home with them.
We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Floral Creative/Designer with a great aesthetic sense and diverse style capabilities, someone whose understanding of client service is matched by their love of flowers and plants. Through working in collaborative fashion, this person will elevate our designs and also guide our customers in the proper care and maintenance of their purchases. They will be a key member of our team as we drive sales and loyalty while managing costs and ensuring the profitability of our store.

Primary Functions:
Client Service:

Beautiful Design:
- exceptional and versatile design capabilities
- high standards of product excellence and consistency of delivery
- collaborative and creative when it comes to delivering new designs for our discerning customers
- ensuring our packaging always meets our brand standards
Organizational Skills:
- able to maintain a clean, well-organized work area
- able to manage inventory and costs with the support of the owners
Opening/Closing Procedures:
- comfortable with opening and closing the store
- flexible when it comes to seasonal hours
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON M5E 1B3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- florist: 1 year (required)
