Are you a rockstar Dental Hygienist with a passion for patient care and a love for making smiles shine? We’re looking for YOU to join our friendly, upbeat team! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. We have a steri-tech to help turn over your room so you can make sure your notes and audits can be completed in a timely manner.
This position is for Thursdays and 2 Saturdays each per month with potential to grow to more days.
Our beautiful and modern clinic is fully digital and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including Cavitron, piezo, Hu-Freidy EverEdge curettes (less sharpening required and less hand fatigue!), multiple digital sensors (so you’re not waiting around to take radiographs), among other great products!
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Perform periodontal assessments and document findings accurately.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and questions with excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care, including working with pediatric patients when necessary.
Experience
- A valid Dental Hygienist license and active registration with the college is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service are crucial for success in this role.
