Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in medical or dental offices is a plus, but we welcome candidates with relevant clerical experience and a friendly demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendar accuracy using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Handle data entry tasks with high accuracy, including updating patient or client records
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and bookkeeping using QuickBooks or similar software
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a professional environment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously
- Support administrative tasks related to medical or dental office operations as needed
- Proofread documents for accuracy and professionalism before distribution
Qualifications
- Previous office experience, particularly in medical or dental settings, is preferred
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry software
- Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Clerical experience including filing, proofreading, and administrative support
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
- Strong typing skills and ability to perform accurate data entry
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training is a plus

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
