Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shellfish Grader to join our team. This role involves inspecting and grading shellfish to ensure quality standards are met, supporting our commitment to providing fresh and high-quality products to our customers. Shellfish is graded inside a temperature controlled building at 10 degrees appropriate dress is required. Medical/dental benefits after 3 months employment. No experience necessary
Responsibilities
- Inspect shellfish for quality, size, and freshness according to established standards
- Grade shellfish accurately based on size, appearance, and other quality indicators
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grading area
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bowser, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
