We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Insurance & Investment Broker to join our growing brokerage. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively develop new business through outside sales, referrals, networking, telemarketing, and targeted marketing initiatives
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products (life, health, disability, etc.) and investment solutions (retirement planning, savings plans, wealth-building strategies)
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and ongoing financial guidance
- Analyze client financial situations to design customized insurance and investment strategies
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and offering expert financial advice
- Negotiate terms, premiums, and financial solutions to achieve optimal outcomes for clients and the organization
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to insurance and investments
- Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, sales activities, and financial plans using CRM and sales tools
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales (outside sales, retail, telemarketing, or financial services preferred)
- Background in insurance, financial services, or investments is a strong asset
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate client needs and recommend suitable solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close sales while building lasting client relationships
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage diverse client needs professionally
- Knowledge of marketing and prospecting strategies to generate leads and grow a client base
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Experience with CRM or sales administration tools is an asset
- Must be 18 years or older
