Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager – LED Industry to lead and expand our sales operations across Canada. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and managing key accounts within the lighting and electrical distribution sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies targeting B2B clients in the LED industry.
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and industry research.
- Manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Lead and motivate a sales team to meet or exceed sales targets through coaching and performance management.
- Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
- Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, forecast revenue, and analyze sales data for strategic planning.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales within the LED lighting or electrical, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of LED strip lighting products is highly preferred
- Established network within the Canadian lighting, electrical, or construction markets is an asset
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel within Canada as needed
