Responsibilities

- Operate the Micros POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process customer orders swiftly and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, change giving, and receipt issuance.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders clearly, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities while promoting specials or new offerings.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure timely service and minimize wait times for customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Restaurant or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
