Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experienceWe are seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Splicer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fiber optic splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and delivering high-quality installations and documentation.Responsibilities
- Perform fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshooting on outside plant (OSP) networks.
- Operate OTDRs, power meters, and other fiber testing equipment.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, splice diagrams, and network plans.
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and customer standards.
- Complete required documentation and test records accurately.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of outside plant fiber optic experience.
- Proficient with OTDR, power meter, and related testing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and splice diagrams.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel as required.
