Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Fence Installer / General Labourer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can handle the physical demands of construction work. Experience in fencing or construction is an asset, but we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of wood, chain link, vinyl, composite, aluminum, corrugated metal, and other fencing systems
- Assist with the fabrication and installation of custom gates
- Dig post holes, mix and pour concrete, and set posts to grade
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite
- Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects efficiently
- Follow company safety standards and installation procedures
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physically demanding work
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous fencing, construction, or landscaping experience is considered an asset but is not required

Schedule
- Four 10-hour shifts per week

- Overtime opportunities may be available during peak season
Experience
- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
