Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality customer (member) service to patients.
- Assist members across various communication channels - phone, email, SMS and chat with the order, billing/insurance, medication or other service-related questions
- Process new and refill prescriptions
- Take/send refill requests and respond to patient inquiries.
- Send refill and transfer requests to doctors and pharmacies.
- Verify prescription information is complete and accurate.
- Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain member satisfaction.
- Understanding of commonly prescribed medications and their uses.
- Assist the pharmacist in filling prescription items as per the College of Pharmacy regulations.
- Collect, organize and evaluate patient information.
- Proactively identify solutions to questions you anticipate our members having in each interaction
- Take a hands-on approach to resolve every issue, owning it from start to finish
- Reviewing and processing every request accurately
Qualifications (Must-Haves):
- 1 year of pharmacy experience
- Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications.
- Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills.
- Strong member service focus.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellence.
- Demonstrate ability to work as an effective team member.
- Detail-oriented.
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently exceeding productivity and quality stand.
- Flexible to work in different shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Enjoys multitasking and is proficient in computer handling skills.
