What You’ll Be Doing as the Accountant
- Prepare reconciliations, financial reports, and year-end working files
- Work extensively within accounting and construction software systems
- Support payroll and accounting processes across multiple departments
- Collaborate with administrative and operations teams, including project managers
- Identify process improvements and contribute to operational efficiencies
- Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze and organize financial data
About You as the Accountant
- Have some formal accounting education (diploma, certificate, degree)
- Desire to pursue your CPA would be an asset
- Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, formatting, and VLOOKUPs
- Experience with construction or integrated accounting software such as Jonas
- Comfortable understanding how accounting modules interact within ERP systems
- Naturally analytical with strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience using AI or automation tools in accounting environments is considered an asset
