Position: Saw Operator
Reports to: Lead Hand

Job description
Mancor Industries is a world class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that use sheet metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly and paint. We use state-of-the-art machining and fabrication techniques in a lean, self-directed work team manufacturing environment to produce high value-added, cost-effective products for our strategic partners.
We are looking for a Saw Operator to work in Production Department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating saw machinery, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
· Set up saw machines and make necessary adjustments for each job
· Install stops or guides to specified lengths
· Operate saw machines, monitoring for defects or issues during operation
· Use measurement tools to ensure product accuracy
· Assist in packing and transporting finished pieces
· Accurately complete job-related paperwork
· Support team operations as needed
· CNC and drill experience considered an asset
· Experience working with steel, mills, and drills preferred
· Work overtime and shifts as required
Education and Experience
· Prior work experience in working with sheet metal
· High school or equivalent

· Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and crouch
· Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs
· Ability to use hands to reach and to handle or feel
· Manual dexterity in hands for tool usage
· Ability to visibly inspect product
· Will be trained on crane/hoist and/or forklift as required
· Work well under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
· Good interpersonal skills; customer focused and a team player
· Basic written and oral communication in English.
Salary and Benefits
· Wage: CAD 18/ hr – 22/ hr (negotiable Depending on Experience)
