Our Construction team is recruiting for a key leadership position. Reporting to the Director of Construction, the Construction Manager is responsible for the oversight of the organization, planning and execution of the on-site and office activities related to construction. The Construction Manager will ensure a uniform process is maintained for all projects to provide a consistent interaction with all clients, sub-trades, suppliers and Internal PML employees. Periodic review of the process to ensure that each projects financial, quality and client satisfaction goals are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Maintain/develop relationships with clients, subtrades, suppliers etc.
- Facilitate communication between office based and field based staff.
- Ensure desemination of information within different office departments.
- Provide career development and educational opportunities for staff.
- Provide summaries of information to other managers as a basis for decision making.
- Ensure the use of standard procedures and processes for all projects.
- Help develop/improve procedures to increase project efficiencies.
- Available to provide “second set of eyes” on decisions.
- Promote/maintain a greater relationship between office and field staff.
- Maintain a high level of moral.
- Identify and correct issues that affect project profitability, quality and client satisfaction.
Construction Manager Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years in Construction Leadership
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree: A degree in construction science, construction management, or mechanical engineering is standard.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex construction drawings, contractual documents, and project schedules.
- Maintain progress on site with construction and mechanical schedules
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills both oral and written

Pay: $140,000.00-$160,000.00 per year
