What You'll Be Doing
Lead and oversee the finance function, managing a team of 9 finance professionals
Manage all accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, treasury and FP& A activities
Ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting and financial submissions under IFRS standards
Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate finance policies and procedures
Coordinate external audits and collaborate with auditors to resolve findings and recommendations
Partner with tax advisors to ensure compliance and identify tax optimization opportunities
Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning activities
Work closely with operational leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives
Develop financial models and business cases supporting capital expenditure projects and strategic investments
Drive improvements in working capital management through close collaboration with operations and sales teams
Analyze business performance drivers and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability
Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop members of the finance team
Collaborate with finance leaders across the organization to share best practices and improve overall performance
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including financial systems enhancements and process optimization
CPA designation required; CPA, CA preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce
Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience
At least 5 years of leadership experience managing accounting, AP, AR, and finance teams within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of IFRS and experience reporting within a public company or complex corporate structure
Demonstrated ability to partner with operations and influence business performance
Strong commercial acumen with a proactive, analytical, and results-oriented mindset
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with OneStream or Hyperion is considered an asset
ERP implementation experience within manufacturing is an asset
