On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is recruiting experienced and safety-conscious candidates for an open vacancy as a Certified Tow Motor Operator – Shipping & Receiving in Waterloo.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with proven forklift experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and safe material handling practices.
This position is not open to students.
Pay Rate: $21.80/hr + 4% vacation pay added to each cheque weekly
Shift: Days: Monday – Thursday: 7:00AM – 4:30PM, Friday 7:00AM – 11:00AM

- Safely operate tow motor stand-up Reach Truck
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Complete shipping and receiving duties while ensuring accurate inventory movement
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain accurate documentation
- Perform order picking, material handling, and warehouse support duties as required
- Assist with inventory control and stock organization
- Perform manual material handling, including lifting up to 50 lbs (25 kg)
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Valid forklift certification with practical experience operating tow motors
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving
- Strong experience operating “stand-up” Reach Truck and forklift
- Ability to safely and efficiently move materials in a busy warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (25 kg)
- Flexible to support occasional shift rotation for vacation coverage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work well under deadlines and changing priorities
- CSA-approved safety footwear
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong attendance record
