Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic with 2 years shop experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments on vehicles using various tools and equipment
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete the repairs.
- Maintain detailed service records for all repairs performed
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Assist with assembly or disassembly of automotive components as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years mechanic experience with automotive repair shop.
- Mechanical knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC systems, welding techniques, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to details.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
This position requires a motivated individual who is committed to quality workmanship and safety standards.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
