Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a Specialist SCM Power Projects & Operations to join their team. As a Specialist SCM Power Projects & Operations, you will be part of the Supply Chain Management department supporting Power Projects & Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Specialist SCM Power Projects & Operations
Location: North York, ON or Calgary, AB
Pay Rate: $53/hr
What's the Job?
- Lead supply chain management activities related to project transition into operations, ensuring warranty terms and documentation are properly transferred.
- Act as the primary interface for warranty matters between projects, operations, OEMs, EPCs, and suppliers.
- Coordinate and manage OEM and EPC warranty claims, tracking and reporting on all warranty activities.
- Interpret and administer contracts to enforce warranty provisions and negotiate disputes or settlements.
- Support asset reliability and provide warranty subject matter expertise to enhance operational performance.
What's Needed?
- Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
- 7+ years of supply chain management experience, preferably in vendor management, supplier relationship management, or warranty management.
- Experience in reviewing, negotiating, and executing supply contracts.
- Knowledge of renewables industry (5+ years preferred).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
