Job Overview
We are seeking experienced , dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teachers to join our educational team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role involves planning engaging activities, fostering positive relationships, and supporting children’s individual needs to ensure a safe and enriching learning experience. Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly valued, along with experience working with children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction
- Support the individual needs of children, including those with disabilities or special education requirements
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative learning atmosphere
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and daily activities
- Utilize computer skills for documentation, communication, and educational activities
- Manage classroom organization efficiently, ensuring safety and cleanliness at all times
- Demonstrate leadership in guiding children’s behavior and encouraging respectful interactions
- Incorporate bilingual instruction when applicable to support language development in both English and French
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively within a classroom environment
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
- Proficiency in computer operation for record keeping and educational purposes
- Exceptional writing skills for documentation and communication reports
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diversity and promotes equal opportunities for all children
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
