Work Settings
Our PSWs support clients across a variety of care environments, including:

Private homes
-
Hospitals
-
Long-term care facilities
-
Retirement residences
Responsibilities
-
Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
-
Provide companionship and emotional support
-
Assist with mobility and transfers
-
Support with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care and observations
Minimum Requirements
-
Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from a recognized program
-
CPR and First Aid Certification (current)
-
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (as required by client setting)
-
Vulnerable Sector Police Check (current or willing to obtain)

Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing

Reliable transportation (asset)
