Role Overview:
We are looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. This dual-role position will support both patient care and administrative duties, helping us maintain a smooth, efficient clinic while providing top-quality care to everyone that walks through our doors.
Position:
- Full-Time Morning hours (30-40 hours per week)
- Additional coverage when available
- Weekday shifts with occasional weekend availability
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physiotherapists with patient treatments and exercises
- Operate modalities to aid in patient care
- Prepare patients for therapy sessions and provide clear instructions for exercises
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation of treatment rooms and equipment
- Manage supplies and promptly report any inventory shortages
- Communicate effectively with therapists and patients to ensure smooth patient care
- Maintain a positive and welcoming clinic environment
- Assist with any other tasks that support the daily operation of the clinic
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Proficient in JaneApp (preferred) and MS Office is an asset
- Previous healthcare, physiotherapy, or customer service experience is preferred
- Ability to problem-solve and "think on your toes"
- Energetic, organized, and able to work well in a team environment
