Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within residential settings, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Prior experience in residential cleaning and hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and upholding high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
- Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Prepare and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Organize and tidy spaces to enhance overall appearance and functionality
- Assist with meal preparation or light cooking as needed to accommodate client requests
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs politely and professionally
- Maintain a schedule to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and special requirements
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times
Skills
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French is advantageous
- Strong cleaning skills with experience in residential cleaning environments
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Effective time management skills to prioritize duties and meet deadlines
- Basic cooking abilities for light meal preparation when required
- Exceptional customer service and hospitality skills to ensure client satisfaction
- Good communication skills for clear interaction with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing schedules or client needs

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
