Job Title: Senior Mainframe Developer
Duration: 12+ Months Contract (Possible Extensions)
Location: Toronto, ON
Work Model: Hybrid (4 days/week onsite)
Job Description:
· Tech stack – IBM Mainframe - Deep IMS knowledge
Designer skills: Should be able to independently analyze IMS Segments, create detailed design, lead junior developer, participate end to end field mapping, develop/ unit test and deploy code
Soft skill: This person will be placed in a pod with no major mainframe experience hence person should be able to learn independently. Candidate should be a good problem solver with good ability to adapt & learn.
· Nice to have (non-mandatory) knowledge of Kafka & RESTful APIs
Years of experience: 8+ years
Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (York District)
