Finance Administrator

Coulee Medical Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Finance Administrator to join our growing team in southern Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative healthcare environment and wants to play a key role in supporting the financial operations of a progressive and growing multi-site medical clinic.As our clinic continues to grow, this position has the potential to expand into a full-time role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsibilities may include:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Prepare and process payroll
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management summaries
- Monitor cash flow and assist with financial planning
- Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries
- Coordinate with external accountants for year-end financial statements
- Prepare government remittances and regulatory filings
- Assist with physician payment reconciliations and financial reporting
- Support the development and improvement of financial policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information
- Provide administrative support for finance and business operations as required
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will possess:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (healthcare experience is considered an asset)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to leverage AI financial tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- Professionalism, discretion, and integrity
