A highly respected and successful Canadian retailer is conducting a confidential search for an exceptional merchandising executive. Reporting directly to the President, the successful candidate will lead merchandising, buying, product development and global sourcing while overseeing a team of up to 16 professionals.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Executive merchandising leadership experience
- Global sourcing experience across Spain, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Europe, China, Vietnam, India, North America and other strategic markets
- Product development and assortment planning expertise
- Experience leading teams of up to 16 professionals
- Demonstrated achievements in sales growth, margin improvement and inventory productivity
ACHIEVEMENT-DRIVEN LEADERS WANTED
Candidates should highlight measurable accomplishments rather than responsibilities, including revenue growth, gross margin improvement, inventory productivity, category expansion, global sourcing initiatives, product innovation, organizational transformation and succession planning achievements.
