Warman Homes is looking for a General Labourer who is hardworking, self-motivated, and safety conscious to work in our RTM construction yard assisting with general construction clean up, yard maintenance, and the moving of building material. The job will require you to work with little supervision and it will be physically demanding. The successful candidate must have the ability to lift between 25-80lbs regularly, move safely over uneven terrain, and work in potentially extreme weather conditions.
This is a permanent year-round position, working Monday – Friday (with the opportunity for overtime during summer months).
This position is safety-sensitive, and the successful candidate must adhere to a drug-free workplace policy. Drug testing maybe required in certain situations as per health and safety policies.
What you will be doing:
- Delivery and moving of walkways and other building material
- Vacuuming and cleaning out the home during construction
- General yard maintenance and clean up
- Other duties as assigned
You must have:
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and the ability to get to work in Warman every day without limitations
- Permanent Canadian residency
- Interest in the construction/home building and renovation industry
