Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable person to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction, including carpentry, concrete work, and the operation of heavy equipment. This role offers opportunities to work on diverse projects such as restoration, siding, and concrete finishing. Duties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction projects accurately
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration tasks with precision
- Install siding and other exterior building components using appropriate tools and techniques
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting, excavation, or material transport
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for framing, carpentry, and woodworking tasks
- Conduct welding as needed for structural repairs or assembly
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on site
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, concrete work, or general contracting
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for various construction applications
- Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration techniques
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Experience working with siding installation and woodworking projects is preferred
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction machinery
- Prior exposure to working with heavy lifting tasks and understanding of safety procedures in construction environments
