We are looking for a Director, HubSpot Platform & Business Systems to lead the ongoing development and management of our HubSpot environment.
HubSpot plays an important role across our organization and supports multiple departments and operational functions. This position will be responsible for ensuring the platform is well-structured, scalable, and aligned with business needs. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the company to design solutions, improve processes, and build systems that support growth and efficiency.
The ideal candidate has deep HubSpot expertise, strong business process knowledge, and experience building solutions that go beyond traditional CRM administration.
What Will You Be Doing?
HubSpot Platform Ownership
- Serve as the primary owner and administrator of LiveBarn’s HubSpot environment.
- Define and maintain platform architecture, governance, security, permissions, and data standards.
- Ensure the platform supports the needs of multiple departments and business functions.
- Monitor platform performance and recommend improvements as the business evolves.
Business Systems Architecture
- Meet with stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and operational challenges.
- Translate business needs into practical technical solutions within HubSpot.
- Design and implement custom objects, workflows, automations, and business processes.
- Improve reporting, visibility, data quality, and operational efficiency.
Workflow & Automation
- Design and maintain workflow automations across multiple departments.
- Create scalable processes that reduce manual work and improve consistency.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations through automation.
- Continuously review and improve existing workflows and processes.
Custom Development & Configuration
- Design and implement custom HubSpot solutions that support key business functions.
- Build and maintain custom objects, associations, and data models.
- Extend HubSpot functionality to support operational requirements across the organization.
- Work with internal teams and external partners when additional technical support is required.
Mergers & Acquisitions Integration
- Support the integration of acquired businesses into the HubSpot ecosystem.
- Assess existing HubSpot environments and business processes.
- Consolidate data structures, workflows, pipelines, and reporting.
- Develop repeatable processes for future acquisitions and integrations.
- Ensure clean data migrations and consistent reporting across business units.
AI & Platform Innovation
- Evaluate opportunities to leverage AI within HubSpot and related business systems.
- Review new HubSpot features and recommend enhancements where appropriate.
- Research tools and technologies that can improve efficiency and automation.
- Stay informed on HubSpot best practices and platform updates.
What Do You Need to Succeed?
- 9+ years of experience working with HubSpot at an advanced level.
- Proven experience designing and managing complex HubSpot environments.
- Strong understanding of business processes, system design, and operational workflows.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Experience leading major HubSpot implementations, upgrades, or platform transformations.
- Experience integrating multiple systems and applications.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingualism is considered an asset (English is required to support and service out-of-province clients).
- Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.

- Familiarity with middleware and systems integration platforms.
- Experience implementing AI-enabled processes or automations.
