We are seeking an experienced Aluminum Exterior Installer & Crew Lead with expertise in soffit, fascia, and eavestrough installation. This role involves leading on-site crews, delivering high-quality aluminum exterior work, ensuring strict compliance with safety standards, and managing project timelines efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on construction experience, proven leadership abilities, and in-depth knowledge of exterior aluminum systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, contributing to both the structural protection and visual appeal of building exteriors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate a crew for the installation of soffit, fascia, eavestroughs, and other aluminum exterior components
- Measure, cut, fabricate, and install aluminum materials in accordance with project specifications and drawings
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and other construction machinery
- Ensure all work complies with workplace safety regulations and company standards
- Oversee on-site operations including material handling, equipment care, and job-site cleanliness
- Monitor project progress and help maintain timelines and quality standards
- Train, mentor, and support crew members to improve skill development and productivity
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience in aluminum exterior installations, specifically soffit, fascia, and eavestrough systems
- Strong understanding of construction site operations, safety protocols, and crew coordination
- Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., caulking guns, trim tools), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and related equipment
- Experience in related trades such as siding, roofing, carpentry, fabrication, masonry, or restoration is considered an asset
- Basic knowledge of plumbing or electrical work related to exterior finishes is a plus but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to enforce safety standards and lead by example on job sites
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
Additional Requirement – Driver’s License
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be legally permitted to operate a RAM 1500 pickup truck with a trailer in accordance with provincial transportation laws
- Experience towing trailers and safely transporting tools, equipment, and materials to job sites is required
- Ability to perform daily vehicle and trailer safety checks is an asset
