Responsibilities to Include:
- Report to Quality Manager
- Verification of Critical Control Points to ensure Food safety
- Online Auditing to meet the requirements of (GFSI, Peanut/Tree Nut Free, Organic & Kosher) requirements.
- Applicant must ensure personnel on his/her shift complies with proper GMP’s and are following standard operating procedures to ensure Quality and Food Safety is met.
- Verification of production records to ensure proper documentation of traceability/Food Safety is maintained
- Segregating off standard products - QC Hold
- Create Quality deviation reports, root cause analysis and take corrective actions on non conformance products.
- Training on GMP’s, HACCP, Traceability, and CCP’s.
- Product analysis to ensure compliance to specification
- Sensory Evaluation
- Act as a technical resource to shop floor
- Rotating Shifts (Days,Nights,Afternoon)
Qualifications:
- Experience in Food Manufacturing a strong asset.
- Computer proficiency in MS word, excel and power point and Gmail.
- Highly organized, self starter, effective problem solving skills, critical thinking and the ability to prioritize, capable of multi-tasking and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Demonstrated competence in Food Safety, GMP’s and Food Plant Sanitation.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
