Finish Carpenter / Cabinet Installer / Millwork Installer – $35–45/hr – Nanaimo
- Nanaimo, BC (Departure Bay Area)
- Fixed-Term Contract (Approx. 2 Weeks – July 2026)
Initial project is approximately 2 weeks, with opportunities for future projects and long-term employment for the right candidate.
Compensation:
- $35–45/hour + opportunities for ongoing work + performance bonuses

Schedule:
- Sunday to Thursday
- 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM (graveyard shift)

Job Description
We are looking for hardworking, motivated and dependable experienced Finish Carpenters/Millwork Installers to work on a project in Nanaimo, BC through July 2026. The ideal candidate must be physically able to carry out all job functions and will thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, various aspects of Fixture Installation and Carpentry, along with the Millwork Installations.

Initial employment will be on a contract basis for approximately 2 weeks, with the potential of ongoing or long term employment for the right candidate.

Required Skills:
- Finish Carpentry experience
- Millwork Installation experience
- Experience with door/window/cabinet installation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills
- Motivated and works well independently
- Ability to carry out physical aspect of the job, i.e.. moderate lifting of materials will be required
- Thrives in a fast paced work environment
- Fork Lift/Scissor lift Certification is preferred
- First Aid Certification and experience is an asset.
- Experience with residential and retail renovations and fixture installation is a bonus (warehouse racking, store displays and signage)
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, have reliable transportation to commute to/from job locations and be able to work in Western Canada (Some out of town travel required if you become a Permanent Employee). You must have all PPE and basic hand tools.
