We're hiring a summer intern to help us launch a new content engine across our portfolio of nightlife, events, and ticketing brands. This isn't a role you're inheriting from someone else. It's one you'll invent, execute, and grow.
You'll own both written blogs and short-form video. You'll research, write, and publish SEO-driven blog posts that pull organic traffic from Google and AI search across our domains. You'll create and star in short-form video for Instagram. And you'll help produce and appear in episodes of our podcast covering Canadian nightlife, music, and live events.
You're genuinely comfortable on camera. You write cleanly, without sounding like AI. And you have a sharp instinct for what our audience clicks on, watches, and shares. You'll be the founding member of our content team. You'll post daily. You'll be encouraged to experiment, fail, and try new things.
The MRG Group Internship Program is designed to provide you with practical skills, valuable experiences, and exposure to real-world scenarios in the Experience industry.
The program is structured to ensure that 80% of your time is dedicated to performing activities specific to their role, while the remaining 20% is allocated to job shadowing, skill development, and team projects across various businesses within the MRG Group.

Pitch, script, star in, and edit short-form video for social media

Research keywords, then write, edit, and publish blog posts

An active blogger and vlogger already: you have a body of work, whether that's a personal blog or a YouTube/TikTok/Instagram presence.

Comfortable having your real name appear as the bylined author on published blog posts

Comfortable being the face of our content, on camera, with the understanding that the goal is for this content to travel widely

Strong writer who can produce clean, engaging copy without an AI tell

Able to carry a video on your own energy and presence

Working knowledge of SEO basics: keywords, search intent.

Familiar with short-form video editing (CapCut or similar)

An interest in nightlife, music, and live events

Self-directed: can take a rough idea to a published post or posted video without supervision

This internship is a full-time position and requires in-office attendance 5 days a week (40 hours).
