Overview
We are seeking a licensed and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs, including therapeutic, relaxation, and rehabilitative techniques
- Conduct client assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in accordance with health standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize client outcomes
- Stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices
Experience
- Valid Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) certification from an accredited program
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new graduates
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and health conditions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Exceptional communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client concerns effectively
- Ability to build rapport with clients, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat visits
- Experience:
- Massage Therapy: 1 year (preferred)
