We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers in selecting products that best meet their needs.
- Operate the cash register and process payments accurately.
- Prepare customer orders for pickup.
- Stock shelves and maintain organized product displays.
- Receive incoming merchandise and replenish inventory.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional showroom.
- Answer customer questions in person and over the phone.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and office staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Cash handling experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift experience is an asset but not required.
- Experience in janitorial supplies, industrial supplies, or food packaging is considered an asset.
