About the Role
ACQBUILT is hiring a Loader/Overhead Crane Operator to join the Floors Line team in our factory. In this role, you will support production by moving, loading, and preparing materials used to fabricate building components and completed floor panels.
You will operate lifting equipment such as overhead cranes and hoists while ensuring materials are safely and efficiently delivered throughout the production line.
This is a hands-on role involving physical work, operating equipment, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate overhead cranes, hoists, lift beams, elevating platforms, and swivel hooks.
- Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and lifting devices.
- Assist with equipment such as transfer tables and butterfly tables following operating procedures.
- Ensure required materials and supplies are available for production.
- Support inventory control and documentation.
- Maintain workplace safety standards and company policies.
- Follow quality control procedures within the work area.
- Inform the team leader or supervisor of issues affecting production.
- Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain 5S organization, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Overhead Crane experience preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Working Conditions
