We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Facilities Associate to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess experience in material handling, repairs (non manufacturing equipment ) (walkies, reach, forklfit), and experience with facilities management. This role is vital in ensuring the facilities inside are operating effectively and outside grounds is maintained.
What You will Do
- Daily inspection of facilities for deficiencies (example lights, outdoor waste, equipment,)
- Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance (door handles, hinges, shelves, painting, minor pluming, painting)
- Replace light bulbs, ballasts, and minor electrical fixtures.
- Conduct minor plumbing fixes (tighten faucets, unclog sinks/toilets).
- Patch minor wall damage and perform painting touch-ups as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with production and office when required to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
- Skilled in troubleshooting, mechanical repair(non production equipment and general facilities maintenance
- Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation.
- Some mechanical knowledge relevant to office and plant operations.
This is a new role. We do not use AI.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
