Taraway Contracting is a growing buisness in need of a machine operator/Foreman
Taraway does a variety of contracting work, offering Agricultural, Residential and small Commercial demolition and Excavation services in the Grey/Bruce and surrounding area. Our focus is to exceed customers expectations, not only with our site performance, but also with our professional, willing, and cheerful attitudes.
We have an immediate opening for someone who is positive, mature, adaptive, and works well both independently and with others
REQUIREMENTS:
-experience to include:
- Minimum of 3 years operating Excavator (other heavy equipment is an asset)
- Clean AZ Drivers license
- Capability to lift and carry a min. of 50lbs or more without issue
- Communicate jobsite procedures and systems to lead hand and labourer
- Very good understanding of job site Safety
- Operate telehandler, loader, skid steer, excavator, Roll-Off Truck
- Previous Leadership roles
- Mechanical skills to repair basic machine issues
Role Description:
- - Starting wage is based on experience
- - Perform all aspects of Demolition and Excavation jobs from start to finish
- - Coordinate jobs with estimator and lead hand to ensure jobs are on time and budget
- - Maintain Machine fleet and daily services
- - Be a strong problem solver, able to exceed client expectations
- - Willing to learn and listen, able to take constructive feedback
- - Positive, hard working, willing to be a team player, Leadership qualities
