Our Organization Prime Health Ltd is a fastest growing NNHP (Natural and Non-prescription Health Product) manufacturing company based in Maple Ridge, BC having presence in North America, Asia, Middle East and Latin American countries. We are passionate in delivering result and customer satisfaction. To boost our growth, we are looking for R&D Technician who can contribute in the following activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:

At least 1 year of experience in R&D in a pharmaceutical or nutraceutical company

Experience with tablet pressing and encapsulation

Familiarity with excipients used in tablets, capsules, or powders formulation

Knowledge of the Canadian Food Safety Systems, SOP's, COA’s, GMP's, HACCP, MSDS
-
Perform R&D trials on solid dose formulations—including tableting, capsule-filling, and organoleptic tests.

Develop formulations based on target market requirements and specifications, accurately calculating inputs to meet label claims, meeting regulatory requirements etc.

Accurately collect trial data for product development reports and maintain organized records.

Prepare samples and package/label and coordinate sample shipment with sales as per customer requirements.

Assess raw materials for in-bound projects and liaise with the purchasing team to order and document samples.

Collect raw materials from warehouse and maintain a raw material library in the laboratory.

Collect and maintain a library of supplier CoA and other documentation for raw materials.

Maintain laboratory space and equipment daily to ensure smooth operation.

Assist the production department as needed to optimize commercial formulations.

Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Science, Nutrition, or related discipline preferred.

Minimum 1 year experience in a laboratory and/or commercial setting—preferably in pharmaceutical or nutraceuticals.

Knowledge of the Canadian Food Safety Systems, SOP's, GMP's, HACCP, MSDS.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Able to work independently and with others.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to successfully multi-task, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
-
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Schedule : Monday-Friday (weekends as required)
Job type: Two Year Contract with the possibility of being Permanent
