Are you an experienced Hydromechanical Engineer with a passion for aircraft systems integration and certification? We're looking for a talented professional to join an exciting aerospace program in Montreal or Toronto.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Hydromechanical Engineer, you will:
Lead the integration, design, development, analysis, testing, and certification of flight control, hydraulic, and landing gear systems.
Coordinate technical activities between suppliers and internal engineering teams.
Drive system design, validation, certification, and delivery throughout the product development lifecycle.
Review and approve technical documentation, analyses, and development deliverables.
Investigate and resolve technical issues in a cross-functional environment.
Validate system requirements through design reviews, analyses, rig testing, and aircraft testing.
Plan and execute qualification and certification testing.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve test findings and ensure successful certification.
Work closely with stress, loads, reliability, maintainability & safety (RM&S), simulation, customer support, and operations teams.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project status updates.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
7–10+ years of experience in the design, integration, development, and certification of hydromechanical systems.
Strong understanding of airworthiness regulations and aircraft certification processes.
Excellent technical communication and report-writing skills in English.
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
Strong collaboration skills with suppliers, customers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience with CATIA, MATLAB, and Simulink is considered an asset.
