MEDICAL OFFICE ASSISTANT (MOA)
Yukon Surgical Clinic
Full Time: Monday-Friday (Flexibility with hours is a must as hours will fluctuate.)
Hourly Wage: starting at $25 an hour depending on experience, options for health and dental benefits as well as RRSP.
The Yukon Surgical clinic, is located on the second floor of Whitehorse General Hospital. We are committed to providing quality care for our patients in both general and orthopedic surgery.
Duties:
· Checking in patients for appointments
· Verifying patient information
· Cleaning exam rooms between patients
· Calling and reminding patients of appointment dates and times
. Accepting and organizing referrals
Qualifications:
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· EMR experience is an asset but not mandatory training can be provided
· Strong computer and typing skills
· A strong understanding of confidentiality
· Professional, organized dependable and flexible
· Ability to work well both in a team setting and independently
· Bilingual is an asset but not mandatory
